Materialisation of one of the blocks

In June 2019 BOARD won the first prize in an urban design competition for a 3ha large site in the city of Quakenbrück, Germany. The project will create around 200 new housing units for the city. After one year of an inspiring collaboration with the city, with presentations and public debates, BOARD submitted the final urban design. Construction of the project is planned to start in 2021.
