After having written and researched extensively about the value, meaning and effectiveness of citizen participation when it comes to architectural and urban design projects, we recently got the chance to take part in such an event by ourselves. On November 26, Bernd Upmeyer discussed BOARD’s new project called “Stronger than Time”, which has been described by the media as the most significant urban development project in the recent history of the city, at the local town hall in Quakenbrück, Germany with the city’s citizens. BOARD continues developing the project further for the city.
